Our mission is to welcome People with professionalism and warmth. People are not numbers! Certainly good hospitality requires two things: Family welcome and professionalism. While the reception must remain constant over time, our task is to provide professionalism and services in step with the times.

History

The origin of Hotel Bareta dates back to the late nineteenth century when Erminio Zangrandi and his wife Rose decided to build a rudimentary bar. From that our history was born… It’s location at the mouth of Illasi Valley made it a point of reference for those who were forced to go to work in the factories located near the city. Subsequently Amiable and Augusto can take the credit for continuing to operate in the difficult period between the two world wars. Later Italo and wife Norma were employed with enthusiasm to expand and improve the structure this gave daughters Amabile and Paola the desire to continue and expend themselves in the difficult job of hospitality. Today the complex is run by Amabile and Paola and by children Andrea, Costanza, Massimo and Enrico who mark the tradition of the family business that continues even today with the same commitment and success that it always has. Why Bareta?

In Veneto farming tradition people were known by nicknames, these were nicknames that referred to the job they did or any object or thing that distinguished that person. ‘Bareta’ simply means headgear in dialect, this was because the founder Erminio always wore something on his head so this is how he was always known in the town.
